Contador shows the shape
Team Saxo Bank star rider Alberto Contador continues to show good form in the season’s first week.
The Spaniard won his second victory Friday in the Argentine stage race Tour de San Luis in front of American Levi Leipheimer. Contador put the pace of five kilometers before the end of mountain stages and only Leipheimer and Daniel Diaz could follow Riis-rider. Contador was strongest in the sprint and is thus in an overall second place in the race. There are 46 seconds to Leipheimer, who sat in first place.
